Everyone has seen the post "I plugged my starlink into my X, Y, Z Battery bank and stuck it on the roof and now I am practically Indiana Jones the tech version..." or " here is a 5G radio stuck to the roof #NoW or #CoW... or worse you see trailer solutions trying to get across a muddy field (hint it will get stuck) or 500kg hydraulic masts mounted high on a 4x4 where weight makes it a liability off-road...
These Heath Robinson setups are a fire risk, H&S risk and risk having your vehicles / staff stranded, or worse.
Solution
Here at Virtuser we have spent decades doing the hardest integrations for big IoT and network customers: the first eCargo bikes, the first EVs, and saw the gaps in these as well as the problems of a vehicle without traction on all wheels and/or weight too high to be able to navigate off road effectively. Then there was the problem of powering: so we made everything we use power efficient as possible and add solar where possible or at least clever, safe, battery integration.
Outcome
From aerostats to airframes, drones to custom eCargo bikes, we have installed safe, reliable, remotely monitorable and supported connectivity. The benefits are tested solutions in all environments, which we integrate and test both on our farm in Surrey where we have space to scale up big jobs quickly, test in-situ and bespoke solutions quickly that have the right amount of power in the right temperatures, give the right training so they will continue to work, and turn what could be at best "Heath Robinson" into safe, strong, workable solutions that have been tested in all weathers and locations.
